The first picture is pretty much self-explanatory that which country I'm at right now.🤣 Tho not from IKEA, because they are too far away from my stay; but pop by any most restaurants, you can find it on their menu. Yes, Meatballs.
Before that I had a starter,
-
Halstrade Kammusslor(195 SEK)😋
Seared scallops, pickled kohlrabbi, hazelnuts & browned butter
Mamma Mia! The scallops were delicious. Its big, springy, and seared perfectly. Taste was naturally briny. Based with rich, savoury & creamy sauce. Comes with a light crunch.
-
Våra Hemtrillade Köttbullar(240 SEK)
Meatball in cream sauce, lingonberries, pickled cucumber, potato puree
Maybe I have high expectations, but I felt that their Meatballs were not impactful enough. Not that it's not nice, they were meaty & flavourful, got the standard, but just lack that flaming passion in it. May be a little dry inside too but the sauce is there to help. Sides with sourish lingonberries, mushy potato & refreshing pickled cucumber.
-
Hallonpavlova(125 SEK)
Raspberry pavlova, Passion fruit gel, whipped cream & yoghurt ice cream
A shocking sourish dessert with a little sweetness within. Raspberry & passion fruit gel were sourish. Pavlova was crunchy & melty. Cream was moderately thick. Ice cream were alright.
